The CENTRII (The Center for Radiation Injury Intervention) website has been constructed to provide new and expanded education resources to improve expertise in radiobiology.  CENTRII is one of five Centers for Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation (CMCR's).   The primary goal of the Centers for Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation (CMCR) will be to develop new medical products that will protect against, mitigate the effects of, and treat the short- and long-term consequences of radiation exposure due to terrorist attack.

Because the threat of radiological terrorism is now a real danger it is important that the public knows the facts in order to become prepared for such an event.  This section provides links to additional information that should be of value for the general public and for health care professionals.
